About me

As a relative newcomer to the industry, I don’t really subscribe to ‘rules’ in interior design - they often feel restrictive and unnecessary. Instead, I believe in a more fluid and intuitive approach, one that reflects the individuality of each client and their home.

My background training was in art and design, I then had a career in marketing spanning the last thirty years, but interior design has always been my creative outlet. For me, home is more than just a space - it’s a place to feel safe, comfortable, and surrounded by pieces that tell your story. That’s why I work closely with my clients to uncover their unique design style, ensuring their home feels like theirs, not mine.

I encourage clients to step outside their comfort zone, exploring new ideas while staying true to what resonates with them. And if I have one ‘rule,’ it’s this - there should always be room for an antique!

Budgets vary wildly, and a thoughtful approach is key. Regardless of the budget, I believe in designing smart, making considered choices, and creating spaces that stand the test of time. Trends don’t interest me - why overhaul a space for something that might feel dated in a year? I also believe in waiting for the right piece rather than settling for a temporary fix. If it means holding off on curtains until we can get the ones that truly complete the space, then so be it.

Good design is about patience, intention, and longevity.
